Volvo BV202e Snow Track
This vehicle was designed specifically for the transportation of personnel and materials across country on uncleared roads and soft deep snow.
As used by the Royal Marines, it is a two section, articulated, all rubber tracked vehicle, driven on all four tracks by a Volvo 1990cc 4 cylinder petrol engine with hydraulic steering via the central universal coupling.
The vehicle was fully amphibious and could swim, powered by the paddling action of the tracks (However we would not want to try this out today!). These vehicles are superb off roaders and are great fun to ride over our off road course in any weather conditions!

Bedford RL 4x4
This Bedford RL was built in 1955, and is still going strong. Originally reported to have been an RAF pumping unit this RL was converted by the RAF to a cargo and personal carrier towards the end of her service.
Driven by the 6 cylinder 4.5 litre petrol engine this vehicle has either two wheel or four wheel drive capabilities. It is able to carry nearly 30 people with some on board entertainment, and nowadays it offers gentle rides around our site. (Only available in the summer months).
